I just upgraded my XP home to XP pro, and disaster! It seems that the driver database if i want to add/remove any components does not work.
My keyboard didn't install for some reason, or had a driver problem (its a inspiron 1100 laptop, so built in keyboard.) Every time i use the keys on the keybaord the mouse and keyboard both stop responding.
so i tried reinstalling the driver using just the mouse and it says that the controller controls the mouse on the ps/2 port also and if i'm sure i want to install the keybaord. if i say yes, it says data invalid. if i say no, the keyboard doens't work still.
help!
