XP Pro To MCE

Except with things like the cached credentials removed, it's a subset of Pro (sure would have been easier to explain if they hadn't done that).

Agreed, a couple of features and we could just say "A Superset of XP Pro"

Hopefully this will get easier in Vista as I plan on running the "Ultimate" edition (or whatever they end up calling it). Than I will have the MCE features as well as the Tablet features :thumbsup:

You could also do an upgrade install from XP Pro to MCE.

I did this, and it just reinstalled XP Pro and it did not have the media center.

I am using it now as my main OS. If its no different but offers a few extra's then hey!!! i welcome extra's!
