XP Pro SP3 - No option for Address Toolbar on Taskbar??

So... last night I installed SP3 .. Voila.. Address Toolbar is gone and there is no option in the side menu to activate it

Where is it... and why in the hell would the remove it??

Any help very much appreciated

nny! Been using Windows for over 20 years and never needed or seen the Address Bar. I use Links and Favorites for that function - sometimes History.

Anyway - it is alive and well in Vista. :)

I tend to think they got rid of it since it was tied to IE and due to all the legal issues revolving around it from the US and EU. But hey what do i know?

Yes I know its still in Vista, I don't have an answer as to why it is still there.


EDIT: Mehhh, I just tried it on here and FF came up, so I guess it is tied to the default browser. I'm at a loss. :eek:

Yeah, I always wondered how folks got that bar in their taskbar. I've never played with it, either.
