I just installed XP Pro and noticed on boot the splash screen says windows XP not XP pro like I though it would. It makes no difference but just courious if this is the norm? Mine is the full version with SP2
 
After SP1 or SP2 they took out the "Home" and "Professional" on the flash screen. Don't worry, your's is still the Pro version, it just doesn't say so anymore.

it was after SP2. 🙂
 
The year of the copyright was also removed and XP Home's green progress bars changed to blue.
