XP Pro help - problem with folders

I have an XP Pro machine w/ a shortcut to a network folder on the desktop. When I double-click the folder, it opens search, not the folder contents.

When you right-click on the folder, SEARCH is on top. I need it to default to OPEN. Any ideas on how to re-order this list?

I have no idea how this happened, I just need help 🙂
 
control panel>folder options>select 'file folder' from the menu>click advanced>click add>name the command 'open' and direct it to explorer.exe in your windows directory>set it as default command....
