XP Pro boot problem

When I try boot into Windows, it restarts at login. I use the classic logon instead of the welcome screen and today the password expire window came up. I think that might have to do with it for some reason. Anyway, I quickly say no and try log into Windows, before everything comes up, it just reboots and I don't know why. It was working fine yesterday. If there is anyway I can fix it please tell me. I don't think it i is a harddrive issue as I'm posting from the same computer on Linux. It ran checkdisk and it said no problems. I was thinking virus so I'll try safemode to see if it works, I tried safemode with networking but that didn't.
