Well, I have an account with more than enough points, but I don't work in retail anymore. Is there any way to cash in, or am I just out of luck?

If you are terminated from employment for any reason, you will have seven (7) calendar days following your termination date to redeem your Points.

how about 2 calendar years, lol. oh well, it was worth a shot.

I can tell you from personal experience that once you are signed up, they do not verify your employment anymore. They only check at the time of signup. So once you're a member, you're good to go. 🙂

Actually even though I got my XP Pro , I went back and tried to order an Xbox Pen and they are asking me to email me a copy of a Paystub.

When I click on the Prize shop I get the following message:

Before you can continue with Prize Shop, you will need to email proof of employment of all those with training accounts in your household to salesdsk@microsoft.com. An image with one paycheck stub for each account will do. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Mine has not shipped yet as it is still pending but has only been 1 weekday and today. I am really glad to here is is full retail SP2 version for $12.10 woot what a deal.

Sweet I just checked and mine should be here on the 4th Thanx fbrdphreak for posting this I got this and the halo2 hat.

I ordered this on 3/26 and it still shows as In Processing. Did anyone else order around the same time period and already have theirs shipped?

Hmm...I work at Target and its listed as a store...I may just enroll in this and begin to earn points.

If they actually do verify this, who do they contact? My HR? I would like to let them know ahead of time.

They request that you mail or email them a copy of your paycheck stub.

You can block out all personal information EXCEPT.

Your name
The Company Name

IE: you can black out your pay grade, social, wages. As long as they can tell its a Target paycheck stub to you.

I got mine today 😀 retail sealed box full version not the upgrade. One happy camper here. Thank you fbrdphreak

lol OP then you sell it for $175 in the for sale forums here nice one 😀

Sure is a nice one..................

And it's crap like that that changed the way Microsoft ran the traning and prize shop. It used to be you could "win" unlimited copies of any software title, but rampant abuse, like that you mentioned above, caused them to change the policy to one copy of each title only.....and start requesting pay stub copies.

Guess fbrdphreak couldn't read:

Not for Resale. The rewards cannot be resold. You may give them away to friends and family, but reselling or returning the product to a retailer is expressly forbidden.

I used my NFR copy of XP Pro to revamp my parent's old desktop that was running 98. Ask anyone, I've been buying parts for it for the past month. This copy I won in a retail contest where the rules DON'T say no resale, so you can go fvck yourself buddy. Why don't you go rampantly abuse yourself somewhere else you pretentious prick
