XP Pro and 2K Server Problem

I just got my new system up and running (A7V333+XP2200+512MB), got XP Pro loaded, and it connects to my existing 2K Server.

Whenever I try to copy a large file (1GB+) from a network share to my system I get an error that says "Cannot copy filename.ext : The specified network name is no longer available." where "filename.ext" is the name of the file I'm trying to copy.

Smaller files copy over fine. It also seems to copy over a little of the file before giving me an error.

I've tried a new network adapter and recently reloaded the server.

Any ideas?😕

There was something about disabling simple file sharing in XP I read here on Anandtech. Sorry I can't find the link though🙁.

That might have been in a thread I started a while ago.

I tried turning off simple sharing and it still fails.

You have SP3 on the server? I do know there was at least one known bug fixed in 2K sp3 that involved copying very large files.
