XP over 2000 install question

A while ago I did a clean format and installed XP. Turned out it kept freezing up and restarting on me.

I then reformatted again and installed Win 2000 (still have)

If I were to do an install of XP without formatting what are the chances that XP would still give me troubles or would it be perfect like 2000 is now?

Well, I think there would be a worse chance of you having problems because a clean install of XP is supposed to be the best way to go. Did you find out the reasons why you were freezing and restarting? It might have been driver issues...but I'm not sure. If you're happy with Windows 2000 and it's not giving you any problems, then you should stay with it. 🙂 Hope this helps.
