XP on 2 PC's?

I'm going to be building a new PC and want to know if I can use the Windows XP on my system right now (it's a Gateway) on the new PC I'll be building.

Thanks.

If it's retail (non-OEM) full version, you could install it onto the new PC and then remove it from the Gateway. From the retail-version EULA:

14. SOFTWARE TRANSFER. Internal.

You may move the Software to a different Workstation
Computer. After the transfer, you must completely remove
the Software from the former Workstation Computer.

If it's OEM and came with the Gateway, then you'd need to get a new OEM license with your new hardware to be compliant with the license terms. Or go with the full retail version that you can re-use as desired. Microsoft's "Do & Don't" page.
