Hey guys.I just installed XP Pro on my larger(20 g) E: partition on my hard drive.I was previously running ME on my smaller(3 g)c: partition. When I turn the computer on now it goes right into XP but doesn't recognize any programs from the C: partition. The most important thing I need is for XP to recognize all the previous "stuff" from Outlook(my wifes e-mails,etc) and My Documents. Most of the other programs I can probably re-install.Thanx in advance for your help.My wife will kill me if I don't get all her info accessable.

you won't be able to run programs which were only installed on ME while using xp.
that being said, when you boot up you should get a choice of the 2 OS in which to boot to.
the default is xp so when you see the bootmenu use your down arrow key to set it to Microsoft Windows then hit enter.

I'm not getting the choice of the 2 operating systems.I also am trying the files and settings transfer wizard in XP,but I first need to start ME,which I can't start.Any other way to start ME?I tried booting from the CD but that didn't work either.Hitting F8 also does not give me the option of choosing ME. Thanx.

Just import your outlook stuff over. Your My Docs folder should be unchanged.

Read some of the faq articles about dual booting and see if you can recover your ability to boot Me.
