xp mobile and normal xp

Heh what is the difference between the athlon xp mobile and a regular athlon xp barton core. Is the xp mobile for laptop or something because I don't have a laptop. I don't understand. People say I should buy a xp mobile instead of a barton xp. If someone could explain. Thank You

The mobiles are basically the same chips with two key differences.

1. The mobiles are usually the cream of the crop...required for them to run the same speeds at lower voltages than their desktop counterparts
2. They are multiplier unlocked. This is very handy for overclocking.

Get the mobile for all the reasons charloscarlies states. Plus, the mobile is cheaper than some normal models so you can't go wrong.

Ohh thanx for the info. Now I am more clear. I thought the xp mobile meant it was for desktop. Looks like I gotta look for an xp mobile. Thanx
