XP-M 2400+ and voltage

I'm thinking of purchasing a mobile 2400+ and would like to get a 200FSB out of it. If I'm not mistaken, the multiplier is 13.5*133=1800mhz. I understand these processors can go high, but if I only wanted to do something like 10*200=2000mhz, what should I run the voltage at? Can these chips run safely at a normal Barton voltage of 1.65?

Are there any good sites that show the basics of overclocking these and not just "look what we got this sucker up to!"?

Should run fine at stock voltage. If you want to break 2200 then you start trying to up the voltage.

Mine is actually Prime95 stable at 2.3ghz with 1.65v. It might go higher, but I haven't tried it. Of course, mine is a 2600, but still you shouldn't have any problems getting at least 2.0 or higher with 1.65v.

I've got a 2400+ mobile I bought in March that is running at 2305mhz(11.5x200) at only 1.6vcore. It'll do 2400mhz at around 1.675-1.7vcore but I'm waiting on an airconditioner to help keep the temps down. I might not even run it at that anyways. I couldn't tell much of a difference while testing it between 2.3 and 2.4ghz in benchmarking and actual use.

I have my xp2500 running at 2.4ghz with only 1.7v and I used 1.6v for 2.2ghz! :)

Yeah, with that 2600 (and a 2500 too btw) 1.675v in bios should yield prime stable 12x200. I have not noticed much in the way of difference between my ability to oc my 2500 and my 2600. The 2500 is 2 weeks younger so maybe that is the difference. 213x11.5 is the fasted I can go on my nf7-s. given all of this, 200x10 or 11 should run stable below (even well below) 1.65v.

My 2600+ does 2200 at stock vcore. You can see(sig) where it is now. As soon as I get a good pump then Imma try some more vcore, and see how it fares.
