XP login problem

I have a single user on my XP Pro box, don't have welcome screen enabled, but when I boot up I get a login prompt, the old NT type with just the box where you can type your name and password. I installed something that needed Netframe, which creates a user of it's own. But, I've removed that, and deleted the user, still I get the prompt to type my name and password. Also, I dunno if this is related, but when I press C+A+D instead of the nomal box, I get one that says "Windows Security" at the top and gives me options

Lock Computer
Log Off
Shut Down
Change Password
Task Mananger
Cancel

I'm use to seeing just the task manager and nothing else. Not too worried about the 2nd thing, but how do I disable the login prompt? it's very annoying

thanks
