XP login problem...please help

I have the Win XP pro version and it was normal untill a couple of days ago when suddenly when it try to logs an administrator account (normal login) it displays that "user profile" is lost or corrupted or changed. But if I just click "ok" then it logs in fine, but how can I fix that error? On a side note, I haven't installed or messed with the computer lately, the error just popped up.
