XP keeps on Checking my HD when I boot...

and says that the second NTFS boot sector is missing. There is nothing installed on the second hard drive and it has been formatted twice. The HD in question is a WD1600JB. Thanks for any help.
 
have you tryed letting the WD utility write 1's and 0's to the drive then format it ? sounds like the boot sector has become corrupt. if your not going to lose any info it might straighten it out.

Yeah, I guess I will have to try that. Takes forever though 🙁. Oh well, got nothing better to do. Thank kursplat...I will try that right now and report back.
