I got an error message the other day, and like a jackass I didnt wrtie down what it said. The next day I logged on to find out some of my programs had been erased and I noticed that all my cookies were gone(Internet explorer favorites, stored passwords, etc). Even my background was gone and the original generic XP background was there.
Now everytime I logon I have this problem. I get al the promtps you get during your initial XP logon everytime I turn on my computer now!!(the windows xp tour thing, all the little help bubbles and everything.)
Direcd also pops up a window that says it can't detect a cd recorder even though I have a plextor installed.
What the #$%^ is going on?????!!!!!!!!!
