I HATE the xp file searcher. Is there a way to get a regular simple file search window like 98 to come up by default?

Also, I've had a weird situation where media player crashes when playing and writing to cd at the same time, so I've got it all up and running and using another cd writing software, but stragely right after I installed Roxio's update, it removed all but 3 of my logon accounts in the switch user screen.. now the users still exist because it won't let me create new accounts, so I can log into them with the win2k type login, but they don't appear on fast user switch mode... any suggestions on that?

In the search box hit 'change preferences' then 'chaing file and folders search behavoiur'.

I would expect problems if i was trying to play and write somethign to a cd at the same time, and personally i wouldn't use roxio...heard too many bad things about it.
 
ah nice...didn't know u could change that - i hated the dumbed down version too...

windows and its stupid questionaires everywhere...
