Xp Installation Issue. Please Help!!

I just finished building my new rig and I was installing the os and had some problems so i thought that i was reformatting and putting a brand new install on my c drive. Come to find out it put a new instance of XP on the hard drive so now I have two intances. What do i need to do to erase and start over with a new single install?
 
Boot up with your XP cd in. Boot from cd-rom. Follow the prompts. Do not do a "Quick" format.
