OK, heres how it works...
I'm re-installing XP on a computer, everything is fine and dandy. I put the disc in, I boot from disc, I get to the choose partition screen. There, I delete the old partition, and create a new one, quick format NTFS, as FAT is not an option on this computer (why???). Anyway, after it gets to about 20% of the quick format, it gives me this error:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Setup was unable to format the partition. The disk may be damaged.
Make sure the drive is switched on and properly connected to your computer. If the disk is a SCSI disk, make sure your SCSI devices are properly terminated. Consult your computer manual or SCSI adapter documentations for more information.
You must select a differnt partition for Windows XP.
To continue press Enter.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I need to get XP back on this computer as quickly as possible. This screen isn't helping, as I have no clue about the SCSI stuff. I re-installed on this computer before, and it worked fine. I come in one day, and it isn't working anymore! So I tried re-installing, and it didn't work. So I am here, asking for help from you guys.
Thanks in advance for any information that could possibly work.
