XP .img question - solved

Who knows what program is the best to write the .img file from Microsoft? I know the preview page gives instructions, etc., but I got mine from MSDN which doesn't give any instructions. CloneCD requires the .ccd file. Nero burns it and all seems to be well but I get a corrupt file during install and when I try copying the CD to my HD, it also reports corrupt files and won't complete the copy. I burned it a couple of times using different media. Tried my 2nd CD drive also. (I do .iso files all the time and know what I'm doing.) At this point I would suspect that my download was bad but there were no problems extracting the .exe to the .img file which I would assume wouldn't work if my download was corrupt.

Ideas?

Edit: Well, just burned it again at 8x with the same results. Maybe I'll download again.

Well, I guess the image on MSDN is bad. I downloaded it again with the same results. Tracked it down to the control.man file that is nested like 7 layers deep. Stupid 2K file. I replaced it with one from a previous build and all is well.
