XP: How to get ALL folders to display icon layout

how do i set it so all the folders that view in windows xp are in icon layout?

First set the type of view you want, small icons, large icons, list, or details in a window such as "my computer". Next select the "tools" button and choose "folder options", click on the "view" tab and click on the "like current folder" button and that's it.
