I don't know how rediculous it sounds, but yeah... do I have to reformat?
or is there an upgrade function?
turns out that I need a few options taht aren't on the Home version.

As smilin said. I did it on a HP laptop. I did see some issues with printers, but I put that blame on HP as it was their driver that was wacked out and already in place.
