XP: HDD to HDD

Because I thought that support for Win 98 was going away, I switched to XP. XP is running fine but I miss the ability to copy a HDD to HDD using a simple program. I have used MAX BLAST 3 and it copies OK but the copy will not boot because the operating system can not be found. The original boots fine and both have the same number of files. Is there a fix or does anyone know of a Freeware program that works.

have you bought a new motherboard recently? I have bought many motherboards, and they always come with a copy of ghost. I would look at that utility disk and see what is on it. If you didn't get a new motherboard, or utility disk, then I would say bite the bullet and buy a copy of ghost.
