XP Folders Keep Reverting to Thumbnail View...

Every time I restart my computer, all the folders that were selected as "list" revert to "thumbnail". I change them to list, and they stay like that until I restart.
The "remember each folder's view settings" box is checked. What else is there?

Althought this probably isn't the exact answer your looking for.. I find that if I set the folder the way I want it and then go to the Folder Options and click the `View` tab and click `Apply to All Folders` it should save the folder the way you want it.

The problem with that is, some folders I WANT as thumbnails. I did what you said though, we will see what they do upon restart.
