XP\Explorer Script Error Reporting-How To Shut Off?

As the title says:
I have tried de-selecting that particular option in Tools/ internet option- still does it. I have tried tinkering with the various registry keys- still pops up. I have 1 piece of software with integral browser that causes it, as well as a couple of websites I frequent.

Check Disable Script Debugging;
Uncheck Display a notification about every script error.

You must have both set.

that's the settings I always use, that's why I am having a problem
