I was wondering if someone could help me on this one.
I have the ASUS A7V266-E (BIOS 1004B) and I had WinXP already installed on my system. I decided I would add more hard drives to my system, but I had to add it into RAID because all my other IDE slots were filled. So I updated my Promise FastTrak100 "Lite" Raid Controller to 2.0.0.18.
I proceeded to plug in the drives, and they detected fine in the RAID BIOS. WinXP loads up fine, but doesn't show the conglomerate hard drive in Windows Explorer. Anyone have any idea how to get it to detect?
Note: I did have the latest 1007 BIOS on there, but apparently the FastTrak portion in the ROM (build 42) associated with the BIOS had some bugs, so I reverted back to 1004B with the ROM (build 35).
