I have a second disk on my computer that used to be my primary. It has three partitions,
one of them used to be the primary with the operating system (Win XP). Is there any way to combine two
partitions into one without formating the whole disk.

Do you mean while maintaining your XP installation? If you do I don't think so. However, people rate Partition Magic which may do it but I'm not sure. :)

No, this is my second hard drive. It does not have XP installed on it, it did when it was my only HD.
I want to combine the partition that XP was on and another partition. There is nothing on either one. Thanks for the help

I thought partition magic was now able to do such things with NTFS systems.... sounds like you'll want to format your "old C" partition before messing around with that though.

Partition Magic 7 will handle that job easily.
