XP differences

I don't know if this has been asked before, but is there any normal performance (non-OC'd) difference between Tbred and Palamino Athlons? Do temps differ much, and are Tbred's any better for OC'ing?

(I'm guessing since my Vcore is 1.76 I have a Palamino)

For overclocking, the xp1600 for $52 is hard to beat. I'll bet newegg has sold hundreds of them in the past 2 weeks. Some people are running them at 166 fsb with good memory. The thoroubreds have not been overclocking as well, except for the new 2400 and 2600 cores, which aren't even out yet and priced too high.

There is a physical difference....One is made on the .18 micron process and the other is made on the .13micorn process...

The xp's actually are ocing much better then the 2200+ Tbred chip...It was a real dog...The xp chips are so cheap and many are getting them to that 2200+ level...The newer tbred rev B chips seem to be ocing better and appears they made a slight and I mean very slight increase in die size which should make them a better ocer then the rev A tbreds, but since there are not a lot of B's floating out there besides the reviews of 2 weeks I would have to say the xp's oc better aty current stage...
