XP dial up problem

Hi all,
I need some help with my dial up connection under windows XP. If I enter a password and check save password. When I open dial-up connection a second time. The number of charactersin the password has doubled. I have deleted all connections and then atried to add new connections. But I always have the same problem.

strikermike,
Could it be that your ISP gives you a separate password for internet access compared to the one for email? I had a friend with AT&T that had the same problem. Fooled us both for a time.

The extra ****s are normal - just enter your password and leave it alone

It is just XP encrypting the password for you
