friends' PC running XP Pro with an ATI Radeon 7800 vid card.

Desktop now show taskbar on left of screen with Start button on top left corner...😕
All other apps are running fine with no display issues.

Any ideas on how to get the taskbar back to the bottom where it belongs?

Tried Start>Properties>taskbar settings but no luck
Also checked display Properties, no luck there either.

please help, thanks.

Click and hold in the taskbar, drag and drop at the bottom. Click near the start button I believe. You may have to play around until you find the right spot.

Right click on the task bar (where there isn't anything like the quick launch or windows) and unselect "lock taskbar", then you'll be able to drag the taskbar to whatever part of the screen you want.

Personally, I like having it along the top of the screen, but that's just me.

thanks guys...any reason why this may have just happened?

Or did my friend do it perhaps when in a drunken state? LOL...

😀
