XP Briefcase

Goin back a ways, but does Windows still have a Briefcase-like utility? I've got two computers (W2K/XP Home) and there's files that I will be working with that I'd like to be able to automatically update/add. Say I'm at school working on an essay, I come home and want a copy on my PC so I can work on it there or for backup, how can I do this without manually having to find the file and copy it to the other computer? Briefcase used to do this but I think MS removed it, wasn't the geatest util but it had it's place.

TIA

Or...you can always map a drive and make it available offline.

For instance, put a folder on your PC, share it then map a drive to it on your laptop(?). Right-click the mapped drive and make it available offline. It should sync up automatically when your plugged into your home network.
