The problem has been identified, and we are actively working on a resolution. There is no impact to user data or functionality, this is strictly a front-end display issue. XP Beta testers, please help :)

Hi , First of all, let me let you guys know that I am not one of those lucky few who is "officially" WinXP beta tester.

I have XP beta 2 now and I need to authorize the OS in 14 days.

I'd like to be able to "test" this XP thing for a little longer. Is there any workaround in the 14 days limitation?

I've read somewhere that beta 1 was already cracked using several reghack. Is the same applies to Beta2 ?

Well, to all the potential flamers, I am not trying to "steal" a sofware or anything, but merely want to test XP a little longer. If you don't like the topic, just disregard it. Or propose for a thread lock.

Hope someone can help. 🙁

Dont worry about the 14 days,if you're an official beta tester i am sure there will be an other build soon & you can just download & use that one. 🙂
 
yes I am not an official beta tester. well this kinda sucks 🙁

I'll just wait for the full release then.
