XP ASPI Layer

I recently was trying to decrypt some DVDs through Windows XP and it kept telling me that authentication failed since no ASPI manager was located. Well I looked up on these
forums to see if I could find any info and I found that W2K could use ForceASPI to install an ASPI manager. In short I installed ForceASPI and it failed and my CD-ROM's now say
that their is a registry problem and they are not able to be accessed. I uninstalled ForceASPI and removed all registry keys but still no avail. Any help you could give me would
be greatly appreciated. I already tried reloading windows and uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling them but no luck.

#1) that sounds like warez activity, which is NOT ALLOWED to be discussed here
#2) this is the wrong forum, try general hardware instead.
