XP and Vista dual boot, how?

I have the latest 5308 build of Vista.. I'd like to dual boot just to mess with it. Do I install WinXP Pro first, and then WinV on the second partition? How do I go about doing this so I'm primarily using WinXP, but am able to boot into WinV to mess around?

Install XP first, than install Vista on your other partition. Vista will setup the bootloader that will allow you to pick which to boot into when the system starts.

BTW 5308 isnt the latest anymore, it's 5342; go to the connect site to pull down the latest build.

Where can I download a copy of Vista for Evaluation and testing?

That's right. You'll be prompted with a boot menu each time the computer starts up. But default, it selects Vista and has a 30 second countdown. You can change the default settings yourself.

The good thing about build 5308 is that ATI now has drivers for it (if you are using the latest cards)

I had it installed a few weeks ago and It was a PITA to remove it from my system (file protection)

It's not available for the public yet; Beta 2 will be released before long and (last I heard) the public will have access to beta test it from than on.

The current builds that we're all working with arent even considered "beta quality" yet, it's almost there but still needs a little work.

Please be patient.

That was the first place I looked, peer to peer is not an option since it almost always comes bundled with some sort of worm or virus.
