XP and usb ports on a CUSL2.... problem

I have an Asus cusl2 and it comes with and extra 3 usb ports that plug in, and they aren't working in XP, they work just fine in my win98 partition so I'm guessing it's a driver issue.... but when I try to install the XP mobo drivers that I got from the Asus site it says there is no need to install them, they came with XP, but still I can't get the usb ports to work


Any Ideas guys?

I'm assuming they're enabled in the BIOS?

Have you checked the system event log? Start there.

Then check out device manager and see what USB devices it enumerates and if there are any yellow bangs.

What build of XP are you using?
