Ok I put this in Cases & Cooling but no one is biting...
So I'll try here..

When you hook up an xp-90 to a dfi ultra-d is the RM supposed to touch the motherboard? Cuz mine does not. The only contact that the Heatsink has to the motherboard is HS->CPU and the two screws. Is that ok?

Thanks

No not the cpu...I'm talking about the motherboard. There is a yellow thing underneath and an XP-90 RM=retention module. There is an upper retention module that you screw into the lower retention module. Inbetween is the motherboard. However the xp-90 heatsink won't allow the upper retention module to touch the lower one. I'm probably not making any sence here am I?

You need to remove the stock retention module the yellow thing with DFI boards and install the one supplyed with the XP90. It is the K8 adaptive RM
