xp-90 price drops

Copper heatsinks require a more powerful fan to perform to their true potential. The PCB/overall system integrity should be fine as long as the computre isn't being transported a lot. It isn't like we have to worry about the three-pronged clips from Socket A.

It's a pretty small heatsink, I doubt the copper will make that much of a difference.

Edit: Ok i'm wrong big difference in weight

Newegg is still asking $55 shipped for their XP-90. I got one from SVC for a future build during their -$15 deal. The Al one probably works just as good as the Cu one.

I wish people that did reviews would actually understand how heatpipes work. If they did, they would know to install it the other way so that the pipes come out the bottom of the base and curve upwards into the fins. Heatpipes rely on gravity to return the cooled/condensed liquid from the fins back to the base. Some heatpipes have wicks or grooves inside to aid their performance against gravity, but they still work better when installed the right direction. They probably would have seen a couple degrees improvement in the review if they installed it the other way around.
