Can you get by without using a fan for these, or are you supposed to just buy your own?

Weird, I'm getting $29.99 as well. The coupon is supposed to give you a $15 discount, not a $10. Is anyone actually getting $24.99? And for this heatsink, you would purchase your own 92mm fan.

there is a retail version that comes with a fan, but lot's of dem tweaker types like to select their own. ;)

I got the email today too.. And I just bought it from them on friday for $29.99
ARGHHHH $5 bucks is $5 bucks.. it could have paid for my shipping :)

You absolutely need to put either a 80mm to 92mm fan on this.... if not, you'll fry your CPU.....unless you happen to have excellent airflow over your CPU by other means.


BTW, I picked this up at bestbyteinc.com, retail pack with fan, for under $30 just last week.... great CPU cooler and does the job very well.
