XP 2600+ showing up as 2000+

Hey everyone,

I have a Shuttle XPC SK41G using the VIA 266 chipset, I bought an AMD Athlon XP 2600+ 266 FSB processor today and the Shuttle XPC sees it as a 2000+. I checked the chip to make sure that it was a 2600+ processor on AMDs website by checking the AXD number.

So far I have tried to reset the bios, updated the bios, made sure the jumper was set to 133 FSB and still it only comes up as 2000+.

Under CPU-Z it says:

Core speed: 1668.8 MHz
Multiplier: 12.5
FSB: 133.5 MHz
Bus speed: 267.0 MHz

Yes I am sure, according the AMDs website the AXD number shows that it is a 266 FSB processor.
