These are not final. Im fighting with some ram problems and need to update the bios.

XP 2100+ T-bred.
166FSB enabled for 2.17Ghz or 2700+ speeds. 1.7V <- have not tested for lower voltage use yet. May be able to get it to work with less voltage.

Later I am going to try and increase the FSB and lower the multiplier and hit 200Mhz FSB. But until I get a ram problem fixed and flash the new bios Im stuck where im at.

Let you know how I come out.

Good luck with that. I'm currently at 12x195 and it's not stable. At 12x200, Windows freezes for me after a few minutes.

I just got mine to 11.5x200 = 2300 at 1.725 volts running at 37C. My first OC.. I'm pretty happy with it so far.
I read awhile ago about what "safe" voltages were for this cpu, but I can't seem to find the thread anymore. It seems like it was 1.85V, but not totally sure. Can anyone help me out? (Sorry for hijacking the thread =)

Yep you are correct. 200mhz FSB is a no go. I am running 166x13.5 right now for 2800+ speeds. I got the memory problem solved, just tweaking some more stuff. Will test further later.

I got it up to 2250mhz and it passed everything fine till I Prime95'd, that test finds any little beloved patriot in the armor it seems.

180x12.5 = 2.255Ghz. Still at 1.7V, running Prime 95 right now to verify the stability. Crashed at 185 right away.

Temp: 100 degrees F while running Prime 95 right now. Heh....looks like I nailed a good cooling combination.

Vantec AeroFlow cooler. Enermax 433 power supply with dual fans. Cheapie case fans with about 25CFM.

And the kicker....my new choice for thermal compound this time around, nanotherm blue II.

Let ya guys know how it turns out in the morn. Hopefully it will survive the prime test.

I"m running 166 x 13 at 1.6V no problems yet. gonna run prime95 for a few hours tonight tho, see how it does.

this may be a stupid question, where do I find the FSB speeds above 166? I have 100, 133 and 166. Manual says it should be adjustable in1,2,3 and 5MHz increments. Can someone clue in the noob? Thanks!

My proc is 2100+ AIUHB 0303SPEW on a A7N8X-DX

Hmm.. well I don't know about the Asus mobo, but on the 8RDA+, you have to change your system performance from "Optimal" to "Expert". Other options in that list include "aggressive" and "turbo", but I believe you need to have it set on "expert" to be able to change the FSB in small amounts at a time. In any case, it can't be set on "optimal" because it really limits what you can do as far as OC'ing goes. Hope this helps.

I found it, thanks anyways. Settings under aggressive. Right now I have the FSB at 166 and 12.5 multi at 1.65V in the BIOS (1.7 in the Asus probe) ran Prime95 10 hours no problems, and 41C max temp.

Gonna crank up the FSB now.
