i have a xp tbread b year 03 week 32 how good is it. it has a vcore of 1.5 how high can i take it? max oc?

gotta lock of questions dont you? you should be able to take it to 2300-2400 mhz on 1.8V

k so it will be fine at 1610/11.5@140fsb 1.675 vcore with a stock fan/heatsink till i get my new mobo right

heatsink & fan - a fan and a metal block on top of the cpu

drop the multiplier and crank up the fsb.

[edit] forget it. I just noticed you're still using the old PC133 SDRAM.

or 1530/11.5@140 fsb 1.675 vcore

what are your temps?

no diod support on turbo2 (it was made in like 2000 for the athlons)

just found out that that's the same week as my 1800+ also and it's doing 2300mhz easily so thats a keeper for yah with the right setup 🙂

76f under load, and its right i touched the heatsink barly warm

I find it odd that it would require a voltage increase at all to run 80 Mhz faster.

no its because i have no 1.5 on my mobo it jest has stock and 1.675 but on stock it runs at 1.475 and its unstable at 1.61ghz. i cant whate to get rid of this mobo in 3 months
