XP 1700+ problems

2-256 Micron DDR
V5500
win XP Pro

I currently have the 1.4 (266) runs fine.
Install the XP...boots up into XP..the restarts..a continuos cycle

any ideas??

Update to latest bios ?

Clear CMOS ?

PSU enough ?

sounds like a power supply issue, or maybe an incorrect mounting of the hsf....

List spec of power supply...should be at least a 300watt power supply or one with about 220watts on the 3.3 and 5v rails...
