I upgraded to kubuntu 9.04RC. everything was working fine.
I was playing a game when the desktop froze. ctrl-alt-backspace wont work.
I can't get to another console.
so I kill the power, reboot. now it only goes to a corrupted desktop. it won't go to a login screen, nothing I do makes a difference.
I'm really stumped on this one. once it tries to load xorg it locks up everything. I can only reboot by holding down the power button.
any ideas before I reinstall?
