12:12PM That's a major update to Honeycomb -- Mike Cleron from the Android Engineering Team is talking up some of the new features. The scrolling Gmail widget is being used as an example; widgets are now customizable in terms of horizontal or vertical stretching. Existing widgets can be upgraded "with just a few lines of XML."

12:12PM With Android 3.1, devices can now be used as hosts. Import photos directly from your digital camera to your tablet, and a "ridiculous" amount of USB devices are now supported, including game controllers! An Xbox 360 gamepad is being used in a game demo with an Android app.

So they finally caught up to Launcher Pro eh? :D

Cool stuff with the game controllers. We are one step closer to having OnLive (or a similar service) on our mobile devices.

OT - got a chance to play with a Xoom this weekend. It wasn't bad and wasn't laggy but didn't spend enough time to make a real evaluation.

Isn't the Transformer the Asus one?

He was saying the Xoom's screen is 'just ass', not the Transformer.(I made the same mistake when i read it- damn internet has shorten my attention span by so much that I don't even finish reading sentences!)

Yes, the Xoom's display is crap compared to the Transformer's, wait and get an ASUS when they're available.

I can tell you that the Transformer screen is beautiful, I am in love with my tablet and it's dock, haven't been this excited about a new device in ages.
