XO communications

Looking for opinions on them vs Qwest, Verizon, Paetec, etc for T1 PRI Voice and redundant T1 for data.

Thanks.

We just signed a contract with them. They seem to offer the best deal and service compared to everything else we looked at.

XO is pretty good. I've only contracted out on 100mbit lines, etc. and they seem to be pretty good for the price. No real problems with them as of yet.

One of the worst we have ever dealt with, and I have dealt with them all.

insufficient capacity at the switch, putting the wrong protocols on T1s when we specified what we wanted, turning off PRIs that had alarms instead of realizing they had an equipment failure, turn of a ds3 for maintenace without informing the customer (during business hours no less), pulling the wrong smart jack and taking out a PRI at a location.

I could go on and an and on.

No real problems with them aside from the fact that one of my clients who uses them doesn't have a real contact at XO and they still haven't integrated their Allegiance customers well since the buyout. Their reps are fairly clueless as well.

Damn, EtOH, those are quite a few screw-ups. I haven't contracted with them for too long, so I'm kind of crossing my fingers on this one.
