Hi guys,

I thought the RAMs XMP profile would make it easy but nope. It just gives me an error saying something like
"overclock failed, resetting to normal values" [or smth like that].

I read about it and apparently XMP is shit anyway which gives this error often. So I better do this manually. But all those values gives me a headache... It doesn't tell me anything.

Maybe anyone in here knows the language and can tell me what setting I should change and what values needs to be inserted.

Please see the pics of my BIOS setup settings here:

Sorry for the bad quality. Hope it will do.

Speccs:
i7, 920 @2.66 Ghz standard clock (this needs to be bumped aswell right?)
Patriot Memory 4 x 4GB:
DDR3 1600 MHZ (PC3 12800) *currently runs at 1066MHZ*
Timing 9-9-9-24
Cas Latency 9
Voltage 1.5V

Gigabyte G1 Assassin X58
H60 CPU cooler

Any overclocking pro in here that won't destroy my computer =D? What settings should I change, and to what value?!?!
Just want it to run in 1600 MHZ as advertised.

Thanks in advance,

Ok firstly what do you use your PC for? You will probably find that only using 3 sticks will give you better performance as then they can make use of the triple channel feature.

Does it mention anywhere, the boot screen for instance, whether it is running in dual or single channel mode?
