at the end, how is he even physically alive? i thought he got obliterated? no names for those who just happen to stumble into the thread. also, dont quote this and reply to it

Remember the speech he was having in the begining about the man that was born with consciousness and the possibility of transfering consciousnesses to save people lives with cancer etc., it also works when your disentegrated apparently.

ah, quite the ethical paradox. i didn't realize it. btw, who was the guy lying there? and who was the nurse?

and Neurorelay why aren't you "even going to entertain this"

I was much more interested in Wolverine's "Grow those back" 😛

BTW : Watched it after a long work day, so I guess I missed the inside joke that's supposedly there?

Because you can find this discussion on most fan sites at this point, why oh why another thread. 🙂

Since this thread clearly indicates that it contains spoilers, I will speak freely.

I was very disappointed that they cured mystique very early during the film. I enjoyed watching her a lot 😉

I just realized that this film had very little dialogue. It was mostly crap flying everywhere. Overall I would say it was entertaining, but I liked the first two a lot more. I guess it is impossible to make trilogy that gets increasingly better.

I don't remember him getting obliterated... just... yeah "pricked" we'll call it

but they didnt show a body .... right?

Just realized I'm talking about the wrong thing. You guys mean the VERY after credits end, not the end of the movie. Didn't know about after the credits thing so that's why I was confused. Now I'm good... ignore me 🙂.

It is implied that he got obliterated, Jean's powers were ripping the house apart and they showed clips of his skin ripping off is bones, then in the frozen time when he told Jean to keep trying to control her powers there were millions of little glass shards pointed at him, a second later, the shards had dispursed and turned color- He was no longer there.

awesome. but i doubt anything higher than a PG-13, gotta cash in with all the kiddies watching the films.

I think Patrick Stewart mentions that they might be doing a movie about Magneto and Xavier as younger men. I never thought Xavier was all that powerful until the second movie where he stops everyone cold.

I wouldn't take the transferral idea as the final word as it doesn't quite make sense, what with the character having the same voice and all...then again, he was quite obviously disintegrated by JG/Phoenix...

That movie was so disappointing. 🙁

I don't think that any of them were fully "cured" from the scene right before the ending credits.
