It's been advertised as in the making since may. I just purchased a new Honda and it has built in XM. I tried to like it but I much prefer sirius. This unit is supposed to convert the headunit's built in XM capabilities to be able to receive sirius sat radio. Has anyone else been waiting for it as bad as i am? any news? I hope it comes out soon.

You perffer lesser sound quality, less channels, and smaller playlists? When the merger goes thru, you will be able to get Stern on current XM equipment, plus Im sure channels will be streamlined, so odds are, the channels you like on Sirius will be the same on both services.

I strongly prefer the programming on Sirius, and if I had a Honda I would definitely invest in this. The merger has been pending approval forever, and at this point I'd put its likelihood of success at ~30% or less.

Beauty is always in the eye of the beholder.I find XM's over 170 channels to provide top quality and everything I could want. I guess it really depends on your age as to what you like to listen to.
