XM and Sirius Merging?

The sole reason Xm merging with Sirius is bad, is because Clear Channel owns a large portion of XM.

Clear channel invested 75 million into XM, which has a market cap of around 7 billion.
By the way, Sirius has a market cap of just under 8 billion. Sounds more like a merger of 'equals' rather than a buy out.

Of course, it was likely just a rumor intended to spike activity for a short time, while someone made a fortune.
